Take Care of the Environment

As outdoor enthusiasts, it is important to take care of the natural environment we enjoy. This means following the principles of trail etiquette and Leave no Trace principles, which include: planning ahead and being prepared, traveling and camping on durable surfaces, disposing of waste properly, leaving what you find, minimizing campfire impact, respecting wildlife, and being considerate of other visitors.

Additionally, we should all strive to be good stewards of the environment by picking up trash (ours and others we encounter on our adventures), and being mindful of our impact on the trails and natural areas we visit. By following these guidelines, we can help preserve the natural beauty of the outdoors for future generations to enjoy.

Have Fun and Enjoy the Outdoors!

Remember the main goal of this community is to share and explore the great outdoors and awesome trails and places around the world, so have fun and make the most of it! Let’s inspire each other to get out there, explore new trails, and make long-lasting memories together.

These community guidelines are effective as of January 25th, 2023.

Affiliate Program

Silverlight was founded by Ralph S. a hiking enthusiast and trail runner in 2018. Born from the wish to spend more time in the outdoors and major pain with the available hiking socks on the market, we developed our first product: Silverlight Hiking Socks. Just six month later we raised almost $40.000 via crowdfunding on Indiegogo. We couldn’t find the perfect hiking socks that prevent blisters, don’t smell, dry fast and are super comfortable even after days on the trail – so we made them.

Silverlight socks feature a unique dual-layer compression design and are made with silver yarns that never wash out and completely eliminate odor by creating a bacteria-free zone around the feet. They’re ultra-durable and last for hundreds of miles. Since launching we have received rave reviews from customers all around the world, with socks that are designed to prevent blisters better than any other sock on the market.
